What is the GCET for MBA?
The GCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) for MBA is a standardized exam conducted by Gujarat Technological University (GTU) to short list qualified candidates to fill the 5000+ seats of two years full time and three years part time evening course of Master of Business Administration (MBA), being offered by 100+ management institutes based in Gujarat and affiliated to GTU.
Who is responsible for conducting GCET MBA?
GCET MBA is the brainchild of the government of Gujarat, which had decided to create a common platform to select the eligible candidates for the MBA course being offered in MBA colleges based in Gujarat. GCET MBA exam measures the quantitative, mathematical and business knowledge of a candidate.
Do I need to take the GCET for admission to an MBA program?
To gain admission to an MBA program in the GTU affiliated MBA colleges, you need to take the GCET. All management institutes based in Gujarat and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, offering masters degree in management require GCET scores for admission.
What abilities does the GCET MBA measure? The GCET MBA seeks to measure three broad areas of ability by way of its different unique test pattern:
