Various events were conducted during these two days under Technical and Non-Technical categories. Technical events include Paper/Poster Presentation, Technical Quiz, Programming & Debugging, Walk In and Non-Technical events were Short Fils, Dance, Fancy Dress and Game Zone. Students took part on all the activities enthusiastically. Cash Prizes and various gift coupons were given to Winners of different events and participation certificates were also issued to each participant of the event.
Atmiya College, RK University, Vivekananda college, Christ college, TN Rao College, PDM College, RP Bhalodiya College, Geetanjali College, JJ Kundaliya College, Gardi Vidhyapith and Sunshine college belongs to Rajkot, SJ Varmora college from Surendranagar, JVIMS, DKV college, GHG college, SVET college, Gosrani college and VSI college from Jamnagar, GK & CK Bosamiya College from Jetpur, OMVVIM from Morbi, Swaminarayan college, Kapashi College, KR Doshi college, Naimisharanya college and SSCCS college from Bhavnagar, SSSDIIT, MM Ghodasara college and Yadav College from Junagadh, DNV college from Gandhidham, Smt. KB Shah Science college from Wadhwan, Adarsha College from Botad are few colleges participated in Synergy.
Technical Quiz was won by Gosrani college and Christ, DNV and Vivekananda colleges grabbed the prizes of Poster presentation. Excellent short films were created by Christ, Naimishranya and DNV colleges and won the concerned prizes also. Several good quality papers were also presented by SVET and Swaminarayan college students. The prizes of Programming were bagged by AITS, Adarsh college students. Christ, Vivekananda and ICSI won the prizes of Fancy dress competition. The JVIMS and JJ Kundaliya colleges played very well to grab the prizes of Game zone.
The participants and the key speakers were welcomed by Prof. Sunil Bajeja, HOD-MCA. The symposium was inaugurated by Mr.Vikram Sanghani, Joint Managing Director of ACE software Exports Ltd., Rajkot. During his speech he narrated how the computer science has grown over a period of time, its future prospectus and top 5 emerging fields of computer applications. The concept of Synergy was explained by Dr. R. Sridaran, Dean of Computer Applications, MEFGI. Swami Sarvasthananthaji of Ram Krishna Ashram, Rajkot addressed the students during valediction.
