MCA orientation Program

A 3 day long orientation program was organized during 6th Aug 2015 to 8th Aug 2015 by Marwadi collage for the newly admitted students. This is considered as unique and Marvelous initiatives by the collage. This initiatives provided ample opportunities for orienting new students in terms of connecting them to the facilities, policies and procedures of the collage introducing them to the faculty members, making them understand the corporate requirements and also how to stay focused in their goals.

During DAY 1 the program was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr Viveck Patil, Director, Source Inc., Ahmadabad. In his addressing he insisted upon the importance of time, goal setting, importance of perfect practice and other attributes which are required for the individual’s growth. Mr Viveck has also conducted many exercises in connection with that.

Earlier during the function the Dean Faculty of computer application, DR R Sridaran, narrated the facilities available with the institution and also general expectations from the students.

He also introduced his team of faculty members and other supporting staffs to the new students and their parents.

Yet another highlight of the inauguration was motivational session on the “ Teaching and Learning process” by Prof S K Bhagwan where he covered various aspects involved at the both ends of faculty members and students.

Prof Sunil Bajeja, welcomed all the new students and also guests.

On the same day after the inauguration, the treasure Hunt game was conducted to all the students. This was organized by Prof Nilesh Adwani.

During DAY 2 the senior students conducted the quiz program to all the new students. It was guided by Prof Jobi Jose.

Two industry persons Ms Tritha Bhatt and Ms Nikita Chawda from Sttreebo Mobile, Ahmadabad, interacted with the students. During the interaction, it was highlighted to be prepared for tomorrow’s industry in terms of accruing the right skills on technology and domain. Many opportunities in the area’s of Business Intelligence, E-commerce and Mobility were discussed with the young students.

During DAY 3 a motivational sessions was delivered by Prof S K Bhagwan Sir, Director “ learning and Development” During his session many activities were conducted on motivation, goal setting and organizing one self.

During the valediction ceremony prizes were distributed to the successful winners of both treasure hunt and quiz. Mr Madhusudan Josh, Asst Vice President(Admin), MEFGI participated and distributed the prizes. He also showcased the hostel and transport facilities of Marwadi college.

Two alumnus students Mr Jay Kotecha and Mr Rudra Gesota who are placed with leading IT companies have also interacted with the students.
