Tree Plantation Activities at Pradhyuman Park, Rajkot
Socio Nature Club, Faculty of Computer Applications, Marwadi Education Foundation’s Group of Institutions, organized a Tree Plantation Activities at Pradhyuman Park, Rajkot on 11-09-2015, Friday from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm, in association with the “Rajkot Municipal Corporation”. There were 32 students & 2 faculty members participated in the activities.
All the necessary tools which are needed for plantation provided by Rajkot Municipal Corporation. Mr.Sunilbhai Staff member, RMC taught students in details about how to plant? The other supporting staff of Pradhyuman park also shared their knowledge about the plants & their importance. After the introduction session, all 32 students were divided into 4 (Four) different groups. Each group was assigned various jobs. Each group was given a certain number of saplings which had to be planted.
Dr R.K. Hirpara, Zoo Superintendent, Pradhyuman Park, Rajkot also visited the place during activities and appreciated students efforts for their interest in natural resources.
At the end of program, on behalf of F.C.A, MEFGI, Prof.Ashwin Dobariya, SocioNature Club Coordinator expressed sincere thanks to all supporting staff of RMC and Dr.K.D.Hapaliya saheb , Director – Parks & Garden , RMC,Rajkot for their kind support in arrangement of this wonderful activity & Prof.Khyati Joshi for monitoring students during an entire event.
