Department of Electrical Engineering have organized one day Industrial visit at "Gujarat Solar Park, Charanka (Dist-Patan) " for third year students of Electrical Engineering on 13.07.2018.
Prof. Rakesh Vasani and Prof. Uvesh Sipai and Prof. Kavita Yadav accompanied with the student as a faculty coordinator during the visit.
Gujarat Power Corporation Limited (GPCL) is the Nodal Agency for the development of "Solar Park" in Gujarat. Govt of Gujarat is admired for taking bold and proactive initiative in the Projects of Renewable energy to harness Clean and Green Energy. GPCL commissioned, Asia’s largest "Gujarat Solar Park" to mitigate impact of Climate Change and to protect environment for our future generation, making Solar Sector vibrant and viable not only in our Nation but also across the Globe 590 MW capacity of "Solar Park" is located at village Charanka, District Patan
Visit is related to Conversion of Solar Energy to Electrical Energy, Power Electronic Devices used in Solar Drives, Applications of Solar Energy, Company infrastructure and departments of Industry, Functioning of Solar Product and Energy Distribution.
