Department of Electrical Engineering have organized one day Educational visit at "400 kV Hadala Substaionr" for final year students of Electrical Engineering class 7EE1 &7EE2 on date 19/12/2018 and on date 27/12/2018.
Prof. Gunjan Tetar, Prof. Dhiraj shrimali, Prof. Dilip Moyal and Prof. Jignesh Koladiya accompanied with the student as a faculty coordinator during the visit.
Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) was set up in May 1999 and is registered under the Companies Act, 1956. Visit is related to Electrical Power System, switchgear, protection, distribution and transmission of Electrical power. They learn the different layouts of various substations such as 400 kV, 220 kV and 66 kV also they visited control room of substation in which they got the knowledge regarding new technology they are implementing such as numerical relays as well as exchanger for PLCC. Student realized the importance of substation in day to day life
